Privacy Policy

The app offers the option of synchronizing and sharing data within small user groups.

No user accounts, passwords, or personal login details are used for the group function.
Participation in a group is via a group code generated by the app.

Data processing takes place via our own server location in Germany (GDPR-compliant).
No data is passed on to third parties.

The group functions can only be used upon invitation by existing users.

2. Data Processed

The app stores only data required for group functionality and synchronization:

a randomly generated app-specific device identifier
user-entered inventory data
optional product photos uploaded by users
user-chosen display names within groups
group names

The app does not store real names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other identity data within the app itself.

3. Purpose of Processing

Data is used solely for:

synchronization between devices
managing shared groups
displaying inventory data within the respective group

The app does not:

perform tracking
analyze user behavior
share data with third parties
use data for advertising

4. Group Functionality

Users may create or join groups.

Display names are visible only within the respective group.
Group administrators may remove members or delete groups.
When a member leaves or is removed, their display name is deleted from the group.
When a group is deleted, all associated data, including photos, is permanently removed.

5. Automatic Cleanup

Group memberships and display names are automatically removed if a device has not accessed the group for more than 12 months.
Inactive groups are automatically deleted after 12 months of inactivity.

6. Backups

For reliability, changed group data is backed up daily.

Backups are not publicly accessible.
They are used only for support or emergency recovery.
Backup data is automatically deleted after no more than 30 days.

7. App Uninstallation

If the app is uninstalled, the previous device identifier is not retained.

If a user deletes the app without leaving a group first, their display name may remain visible within the group until automatic cleanup occurs.

8. Contact

If users contact support via email, the transmitted data is processed solely to handle the request.

9. Encryption

All communication between the app and the server is encrypted using standard TLS encryption provided by the operating system.
No custom encryption is implemented.
